Steering Committee

PILDAT has formed an independent Steering Committee of Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab to oversee the selection process and effective functioning of the Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab. The Steering Committee comprises Provincial legislators, current and former Government and Punjab Assembly Secretariat and Punjab Youth Department’s representatives, selected members from corporate and media sectors, and former Members of Youth Parliament Pakistan, etc. Some of the basic functions of the Steering Committee are as follows:

1. Review and finalisation of Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business for the Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab
2. Selection of members of the Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab
3. Reviewing agenda of the Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab sessions
4. Reviewing progress and operation of the Youth Provincial Assembly Punjab
